摘要
铬是人体的基本营养元素之一,主要通过激活体内铬调素来协同或增强胰岛素功能,从而调节糖类、脂类等正常代谢。食物的精细加工、应激状态以及衰老都会导致人体的铬流失。缺铬已成为诱发糖尿病的主要原因之一。膳食补铬是预防和控制糖尿病及其并发症重要途径。酵母源葡萄糖耐量因子(GTF)可有效调节糖代谢、提高胰岛素与受体的亲和力、改善脂肪代谢,具有安全性高、吸收率高等特点,是重要的补铬制剂和辅助降糖保健因子。综述了铬在糖尿病改善的研究、铬补充剂研发现状以及铬摄入的法规。
Chromium(Cr) is an essential trace element required for normal carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. It could potentiate or coordinate with the action of insulin by activating chromodulin in vivo. Delicate food processing, stress state and aging will result into chromium loss from the body. Chromium deficiency is associated with impaired glucose tolerance and diabetes. Dietary chromium supplement is an effective way to prevent diabetes and its complications. Glucose tolerance factor(GTF)from yeast could improve glucose metabolism, the affi nity of insulin and its receptor, and fat metabolism effectively. Considering its high bioavailability and safety, GTF from yeast will be an important resource for chromium supplement. The progress of chromium study on diabetes, the status of chromium supplement and regulation on chromium intake are reviewed in this paper.
