摘要
从新中国成立至"文化大革命"爆发前的17年间,中国频繁地参加了社会主义阵营等国家举办的国际贸易和世界工业、农业等性质与类型的国际博览会,且在不少届国际博览会上都有中国艺术家、设计师设计的展馆,展出有大量的工艺美术品等。中国的参与行为、展馆建筑、大量的工艺美术出品和展品的陈列设计等,先后获得了诸多的国际赞誉,产生了较大国际影响。中国参与国际博览会活动和展馆等设计,有着发展国际经济贸易、促进新中国社会主义经济建设、维护与巩固新中国的国际地位和新政权政治稳定的双重目的与意图。
In the first 17 years alter the founding of PRC, China frequently participated in international exhibition of world trade, industry, agriculture, and in which there were pavilions designed by Chinese artists and designers, and a lot of arts and crafts. China's participation, pavilion architecture, arts and crafts and exhibition design had got international praises for many times, and produced a great international influence. That China participated in international exhibition activities and pavilion design, could develop international economic trade, PRC's socialist economic construction, and maintain and solidify PRC's international status and political stability.
