Investigation on Failure Mechanism of Nanostructured 8%ZrO_2-Y_2O_3 Thermal Barrier Coating

摘要 采用大气等离子喷涂技术,在高温合金钢表面制备了纳米8%Y_2O_3-ZrO_2热障涂层(YSZ)。跟踪涂层在900℃热震试验的失效过程,使用FESEM,XRD和EDS技术从失效涂层的微观结构,相的稳定性和涂层截面形貌进行分析。结果表明,YSZ涂层随热震次数的增加,陶瓷涂层晶粒明显长大,出现少量t-ZrO_2→m-ZrO_2转化,同时许多热生长氧化物(TGO)在陶瓷层和粘结层交界处生成。 The nanosized 8%Y2O3-ZrO2 (YSZ) was used to prepare a thermal barrier coating material on GH30 superalloy surface by air plasma spraying. The failing process of coating was followed during the thermal shock test at 900 ℃. Meanwhile, the microstructures, phase stability and cross-section of the failed coatings were analyzed by FESEM, EDS and XRD. The results showed that with the increase of the number of thermal shock test cycles, the grain size of the ceramic coating grew obviously, and there was less phase transformation from t-ZrO2 to m-ZrO2 of coating. A large amount of thermally grown oxide (TGO) was found between ceramic layer and bond layer.
