摘要
大学精神是现代大学的核心和灵魂,对现代大学的办学理念和办学行为起着内在的支配作用。从历史的角度看,大学精神是和大学相伴而生的,并伴随着大学的成长和发展逐渐丰满成熟起来。大学精神是共性、本质性和个性、特色性的统一体,有着丰富的内涵,其外延具有拓展性和广阔性。在当前,应采取得力措施以涵养和培育特色大学精神,以推进和保证现代大学的健康发展。
Spirit is the core or soul of a modern university, which plays a supportive role in maintaining the educational conceptions and behaviors. History speaks for the coexistence of a university with its soul throughout its development. Likewise, the university spirit is intrinsic, peculiar and universal, so that more efforts are required to develop and enhance the health of a university spirit.
