摘要
池田大作认为,天台曾是一个心怀大志、坚决求道的哲学少年,一个坚持不懈、苦学佛理的青年求道者,更是一个建立最高法华哲学和实践哲理的佛法理论大师;天台是集过去一切佛教哲学之大成的哲人,他使佛法作为一种哲学的理论体系得以完成,并在其身上达到了顶峰。
Daisaku Ikeda considers Master Zhi Yi as a young, philosophic man who is ambitious and consistent in studying Buddhism. Additionally, he is not only a young and persistent Buddhist but also a Buddhist theory grandmaster of setting up supreme Lotus Sutra philosophy and practice philosophic theory. Master Zhi Yi is a sage who epitomizes the thought of all Buddhism philosophy in ancient times. He finishes Buddhism as one kind of philosophic the-oretical systems and makes it reach the peak.
