Whether it is used for the Ding of Drum-tower, or wind-rain bridge, the Dong Toukung shows us a delicate feeling, it is very similar with the Ruyi Tou-kung in appearance. But the Dong Tou-kung is whether a kind of Ruyi Tou-kung or is evolved from Ruyi Tou-kung, or created by native form, so far no discussion about it. This is the first comparison of these two similar images, by supporting the construction of example, to find the trajectory of evolution to prove the unique Dong Tou-kung- "beehive", initially taking example by the image of Ruyi Tou-kung, then it gradually evolved into what it is today.
