日常生活富有深刻的社会意义却又常常被琐碎细节纠缠着,人们依偎日常生活却又往往瞧不起日常生活。在列斐伏尔看来,进行日常生活研究的意义是在平凡琐碎处看到伟大丰富的一面。薇拉·凯瑟在作品中艺术地展现了人们日常生活的美并高标准地诠释了普遍的人性。
Everyday life which is often haunted by trivial details has a profound social significance. We depend on daily life but at the same time look down upon it. Lefebvre claims that the significance of studying Everyday Life is to see the great and rich side of ordinary life. Willa Cather＇ s novels show the great beauty of Everyday Life and interpretation of the common humanity. This paper intends to explore the beauty of Everyday Life in Willa Cather＇ s works by using the theory of Lefebvre.
