Non-monotonic Reasoning and Argumentation System

摘要 由于仅以一阶逻辑无法刻画出人类推理过程中的非单调性,因而逻辑学家尝试建立新的逻辑系统来解决这一问题。这些系统被称为非单调逻辑。它们传统上一般采用的是优先蕴含或者一致性和不可证明性方法;而从20世纪80年代末90年代初开始,越来越多的逻辑学家开始尝试基于一种新的方法实现推理的非单调性,称为论辩理论。为此,探讨论辩系统以及其后基于论辩系统而提出的论辩框架是如何刻画非单调推理的,并分析它们相互之间的联系。 As first-order logic alone cannot depict the non-monotony in the human reasoning process, logicians try to establish new logic systems to deal with this problem, and these new systems are called non-monotonic logic. Traditionally, they adopt the way of consistency and unprovability. However, since the late 1980s and early 1990s, more and more logicians have begun to use a new way to realize the non-monotony of reasoning, which is argumentation. This paper will expound argumentation sys- tem and how argumentation framework is used to depict non-monotonic reasoning, and analyze the connections between them.
