摘要
吴泽霖是中国民族学人类学奠基与发展时期的重要学者,对贵州苗、布依、水等少数民族都进行过深入调查研究。抗战时期,他积极开展民族学学科建设和田野调查,搜集民族文物并编辑出版研究成果等;新中国建立后,他到贵州民族地区访问、主持贵州少数民族社会历史调查;20世纪80年代,他两次到贵州参与中国民族学学科恢复重建工作,对贵州民族学研究及学科建设作出重要贡献,评述他的贡献,能从侧面反映了民族学研究在贵州的发展历史。
Wu Zelin is the important scholar in the ethnology and anthropology and development period in China. He deeply researched into the field investigation of Miao, BuYi, and Shui nationalities in GuiZhou. His research of ethnology and anthropology makes great contribution to the con- struction of this discipline. Reviewing his contribution reflects the history of ethnology research and the development in GuiZhou.
