摘要
文章运用1992-2011年中国与智利的双边货物贸易的进出口数据描述了双边贸易的发展现状,并使用引力模型,计算了中-智双边贸易的潜力。文章得到以下几个方面的结论:首先,中、智两国双边贸易规模大,增长快,但中国常年处于逆差国的地位,且逆差额越来越大。其次,中国与智利的双边贸易潜力值围绕1上下波动,意味着两国的双边贸易潜力尚未充分发挥,仍有进一步扩大的空间。最后,提出了促进中-智双边贸易发展的几点对策建议。
As two of the major emerging countries in the world, Chile and China have established with each other a free trade zone. The economic and trade relations between the two countries have a non-negligible effect on the world market. Based on data from 1992 to 2011, this paper firstly describes the status quo of the development of the bilateral trade between Chile and China. We then analyze the potential of such a bilateral trade using Gravity Model. Our study comes up with the following findings. First, the bilateral trade between Chile and China is vast in scale and is still growing rapidly, but unfortunately China has long suffered deficit in such a relationship where the deficit is also widening. Second, the potential value of the bilateral trade between China and Chile hovers around 1, indicating that the potential is yet to be fully released and thus there is still much room to exploit. At the end of the paper, several suggestions are proposed for promoting the development of China-Chile bilateral trade.
