摘要
本文着重考察了 2 0世纪 80年代以来西方内生增长理论的新发展 ,对三类新的基于垄断竞争假设的内生增长模型———产品品种增加型内生增长模型、产品质量升级型内生增长模型、专业化加深型内生增长模型———逐一加以评述 ,据此得出对内生增长理论的总体评价。内生增长理论关于技术进步实现机制的研究、技术进步对一国经济增长起决定作用的说明 ,都具有重要的理论意义和政策借鉴价值。但是 ,内生增长理论在其框架结构、生产函数构造、分析方法等方面还存在一些严重缺陷 ,因此 ,内生增长理论仍然只是对经济增长事实的一种“寓言”
This article offers a review of the new development of the endogenous growth theory in the West since 1990s. First, an analysis of three models of endogenous growth based on the hypothesis of monopolized competition is presented. They are: the model of increased product types, the model of upgraded product quality, and the model of more specialized products. Then, a general evaluation of the theory is arrived at. The author holds that the endogenous growth theory is of theoretical significance and extends enlightening reference to policy making. Its major contributions lie in its research on actualization mechanism of technical progress and its explanation for the impact of technical progress on economic increase of a country. On the other hand, the author points out that the endogenous growth theory is not without serious limitations in its framework,construction of product function, and method of analysis. In this sense, it is still but a fabulous illustration of the phenomenon of economic growth.
