作者简介姬秋和博士，教授，主任医师，博士生导师，第四军医大学西京医院内分泌科主任。中华医学会糖尿病学分会常委、陕西省医学会糖尿病学分会副主任委员、全军内分泌代谢疾病专业委员会常委、中华医学会陕西省内科学会委员等；长期从事内分泌代谢疾病的临床工作；发表论文20余篇，参编专著5部，其中副主编2部；参与制订和编写了《中国胰岛素泵治疗指南（2009）》和《中国动态血糖监测临床应用指南》。担任《药品评价》常务编委，《中华内分泌代谢杂志》、《中国糖尿病杂志》、《第四军医大学学报》编委。主要研究方向为糖尿病和甲状腺疾病。
