摘要
以对羟基苯甲醛为起始原料,经缩合、酯化合成了标题化合物,并改进了缩合反应条件,简化了酯化方法,总收率74.2％。
Methyl p-hydroxycinnamic acid (1),an important intermediate for synthesizing the ultra-short-acting β-adrenergic receptor blocking agent,esmolol, was prepared from p-hydroxybenzenaldehyde (2) via condensation with malonic acid followed by esterification with the overall yield of 74.2％. A convenient method of esterification was also disclosed.
