The capacity growth situation of China polyester technical yarn during 2001-2010, the manufacturers and their capacities and spinning equipments are introduced. The applications of polyester technical yarn in tape fabric, safety belt, geomaterial, technical cloth, warp-knitted fabric and woven fabric, safety bag, transport belt, hose and ropes are described in detail. The demand of polyester technical yarn in the downstream process is foreseen and the trend of polyester technical yarn is analyzed.
