Research and Characteristics of High Gradient ZnO Varistors

摘要 为生产符合SF6罐式金属氧化物避雷器要求的电位梯度为300~350 V/mm的氧化锌电阻片,在现有配方基础上进行含量调整,同时引入NiO,通过采用生料工艺和改进烧结制度等一系列工艺措施,研制出平均电位梯度325V/mm,2ms方波通流大于800A,8/20μs,10kA压比小于1.58的准83×21电阻片,现已批量生产。通过对电阻片的微观结构及电性能测试分析,高梯度较常规电阻片具有氧化锌晶粒直径减小,8/20μs压比降低,4/10μs,100 kA大电流冲击后U1mA变化率减小的特点,对其梯度与方波的关系进行了讨论。 High gradient ZnO varistors with 300-350 V/mm which meet the requirements used in SF6 gas insulated switchgear (GIS) surge arresters have been developed, the composition of current formulation is adjusted, and meanwhile NiO is introduced, through the process without prefiring addi- tives and sintering profile and a series of process measures, ~b 83x21 varistors of which the average voltage gradients of 325 V/mm, 2 ms square-wave is more then 800 A, voltage ratios at 8/20μs, 10 kA is less then 1.58 are developed and batch produced now. Microstructure and electrical properties of varistors are tested and analyzed. Compare to the general ones, high voltage gradient varistor has the characteristics of reduction of diameter of ZnO grain, the residual voltage ratios reduced at 8 / 20 μs, and the rates of change of UlmA reduced after 4 / 10 μs, 100 kA high current impulse, the relations between gradient and square-wave are discussed.
