摘要
介绍了10余种有关可能最大洪水(PMF)的定义,并作了简要的评论。有的强调PMF是各种"气象因子(因素、条件)"、"水文因子(因素、条件)"的"最不利"、"最临界"、"最严峻"、"最恶劣"的"组合",容易产生误导和负面影响。从工程水文学的观点,提出PMF的新定义:可能最大洪水是在现代气候条件下,设计流域特定工程所在断面,在水文气象上可能发生的、一定历时的、近似于物理上限的洪水。
The paper introduces more than 10 definitions on probable maximum flood(PMF) and comments briefly.Some definitions are emphasized on'the most disadvantageous','the most critical','the most severe'and'the worst''combination'of various'meteorological factors(factor and condition) 'and'hydrologic factors(factor and condition) 'of PMF.It might mislead and cause unfavorable influence.The author puts forward a new definition of PMF based on the viewpoints of engineering hydrology that PMF is an approximate physical upper limit flood that might be occurred and with certain duration on hydrometeorology under the conditions of modern climate condition at the cross section of special project in designed drainage basin.
