摘要
江苏省无锡、淮安等市近两年尝试实践河湖整治与管理"河长制",创造了河湖整治与管理的新经验。实践表明,在我国处在工业化、城市化全面加快发展的时期,"河长制"是促进河湖水质水环境改善、保障经济和社会可持续发展的十分有效的社会管理形式,值得并且应当大力推广。
Some cities in Jiangsu Province, such as Wuxi and Huaiau, attempt ＇river chief mechanism＇ in these 2 years, which form new experience in the practice of improvement and management of rivers and lakes. The practice shows that ＇river chief mechanism＇ is a effective social management form to improve water quality and water environment, to ensure economic and social sustainable development, during the fully accelerating develop- ment time of industrialization and urbanization, witch i：s deserved and should be vigorously extended.
