采用再调制技术的WDM-PON性能研究 被引量:5

Research of WDM-PON based on re-modulation technology

摘要 对传统波分复用无源光网络(WDM-PON)进行了改进,设计并仿真了2.5Gb/s的再调制系统,系统分别采用反射式半导体光放大器(RSOA)和直接调制两种再调制方案。并在系统中对归零(RZ)和非归零(NRZ)DPSK调制格式的下行信号进行比较,仿真结果表明:这两种调制格式都能满足低误码WDM-PON的要求,在相同的输入功率下,RZ-DPSK的性能指标比NRZ-DPSK要好。 We modify the traditional wavelength-division-multiplexed passive optical network (WDM-PON), also design and simulate 2.5Gb/s re-modulation systems. The re-modulation systems adopt reflective semiconductor optical amplifiers (RSOA) and direct modulation scheme respectively. In the downstream signal, we compare NRZ-DPSK modulation format with RZ-DPSK modulation format. The simulation results show that both of modulation formats meet the requirement of low BER WDM-PON. In the same input power, the performance of RZ-DPSK is better than NRZ-DPSK.
