基于光梳和RSOA双向OFDM-PON传输系统的OSNR

摘要 为了提高光传输系统中下行链路和上行链路的光信噪比(OSNR),研究了基于相干光梳和反射式半导体光放大器(RSOA)的双向OFDM-PON系统的OSNR。首先,使用光相位调制将光纤线路的SBS阈值提高到11~14dBm。然后,在理论与实验上探讨了瑞利反向散射对上行和下行OSNR的影响,揭示出当RSOA的输出上行光功率等于下行入纤光功率时,上行OSNR可达到20dB,而下行OSNR为23dB。最后,提出了在光放大器ASE噪声主宰条件下下行、上行光链路的OSNR和接收机输出信噪比公式。 In order to improve the optical signal-to-noise of downlink and uplink in the optical transmission system, the OSNR of bidirectional OFDM-PON system based on coherent comb and SOA is studied. First, using phase modulation on seed light to RSOA by RF-driven external optical phase modulator, SBS threshold can be raised to +(11-14) dBm. Then the effect of RBS on OSNR is investigated theoretically and experimentally. It reveals when the optical power output from RSOA in upstream is equal to the optical power launched into feeder fiber in downstream, the uplink OSNR associated with RBS noise achieves 20dB, while the downstream OSNR is 23dB. Finally, in the condition that receiver noise is dominated by ASE of optical amplifiers, the OSNR formula ofdownlink and uplink and relations between receive SNR and OSNR are presented.
