摘要
习语是英语语言的精华。正确使用和确切翻译习语可以促进跨文化交际,增进英汉交流和沟通。在文化背景方面,英语习语与汉语习语存在较大的差异。以先点后面的思想,探索英语习语的翻译标准及方法,形成比较系统的理论。从而完善习语翻译的研究,更好的掌握和运用习语。
Idioms is the essence and core of English language.The proper use and precise translation of English idioms can promote cross-cultural communication between Chinese and English.In the aspect of cultural background,English idioms differ greatly from Chinese ones.To begin with exploring the standards and methods of English idioms translation,then forming a more systematic theory,the study of idioms translation can be improved,and we can grasp and use of idioms better.
