It describes grade classification, chemical composition, hardness, metaUographic stmcture and main performance of cobalt base alloy used for sealing surface overlaying for nuclear class valves. It introduces in details the technological features of several kinds of methods for cobalt base alloy overlaying and technical requirements for sealing surface overlaying for nuclear class valves, and makes clear the evaluation criteria and quality control requirements for welding procedure qualification for sealing surface for nuclear class valves.
