摘要
从翻译与文化的关系入手,以《续茶经》之七"茶之事"为例,阐述典籍英译中"求异存同"的翻译策略,探讨译者的文化使命和处理文化阻碍时采取的具体翻译方法。
Taking records and legends of tea （chapter seven） of The Serial of Tea Classic as a case study,this paper expresses pursuiting foreinization and preserving domestication can be adapted to serve as an effective strategy for the translation of Chinese classic. This paper also examines the translator s translation method when they deal with the cultural block in cultural transmission.
