摘要
值此《情报理论与实践》创刊45周年之际,从国际上出现的信息化和情报化两大潮流的历史背景出发,根据我国情报学界和情报学研究存在的诸多弊端,本文提出了将该刊英文译名由Information Studies改为Intelligence Studies的建议,以期推动我国Intelligence Studies研究的发展。
On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the publication of Information studies： Theory ＆ Application, this article proposes to change the English translation of the name of the journal from Information Studies to Intelligence Studies in view of the historical background of the two major trends of informationization and intelligentiza- tion in the world and based on lots of malpractices in information science circles and information science research in China in an attempt to promote the development of Intelligence Studies in China.
