生活方式、天然产物和药物在预防和治疗Ⅱ型糖尿病中的作用

Role of lifestyle, natural product, and pharmacological interventions in prevention and treatment of type Ⅱ diabetes

摘要 Ⅱ型糖尿病通常会引起眼、肾及神经系统的并发症,并会增加患有心脑血管疾病和肿瘤的风险。过量的脂肪组织会分泌一些炎症因子来加重Ⅱ型糖尿病的病情。从治疗的观点来看,合理的饮食和运动能增强葡萄糖的自身稳定,如果再控制好体重完全可以战胜Ⅱ型糖尿病。此外,一些天然产物也能起到辅助治疗的作用。当然,药物在治疗糖尿病中起到至关重要的作用。现将讨论一些与生活方式密切结合的药物疗法在预防和治疗Ⅱ型糖尿病中的作用。 Common complications of type Ⅱ diabetes ( T Ⅱ D ) are eye, kidney, and nerve diseases, as well as an increased risk for development of cardiovascular disease and cancer. Excess adipose tissue secretes inflammatory cytokines, which will accelerate the progression to T Ⅱ D. From a therapeutic standpoint, lifestyle interventions such as dietary modification and exercise training have been shown to improve glucose homeostasis but may not normalize the disease process unless weight loss is achieved and increased physical activity patterns are established. Furthermore, utilization of natural products may serve as an adjunct in the fight against insulin resistance. Since it is clear that pharmaceutical therapy plays a significant role in the treatment of insulin resistance, this review will also discuss some of the newly developed pharmaceutical therapies that may work in conjunction with lifestyle interventions against the development of T Ⅱ D.
