摘要
语篇连接词作为一种衔接手段,是建立语句之间逻辑关系的有效方式,因此成为构建语篇性的重要组成部分。以语篇连接词为导向的教学方法对非英语专业学生阅读理解水平的影响研究表明:该方法能帮助学生增进语篇连接词意识,提高阅读自信心,掌握语篇内在思维模式,养成连贯思维习惯,从而提高他们的阅读理解水平,促进语言综合应用能力的发展。
Text connective, as a cohesive device, is defined as a way of setting up logical relations that characterize sentences and clause complexes in the absence of the structural relationships, and therefore, it plays an essential part in creating the texture. The study of the effect of text counective-oriented instruction on non-English majors' reading proficiency showed that the method, when integrated with the technique of consciousness raising, helped students understand the underlying thought patterns responsible for the composition of discourse, develop coherent thinking ability, improve confidence in their reading, and as a result, produced a better effect on their reading ability.
