摘要 为了减小H.264编码算法的复杂度,提出一种快速的帧内模式选择算法。根据宏块内部相邻像素差的特点判定宏块预测类型,对基于边缘方向直方图的Pan算法进行改进,利用改进的算法对选定了预测类型的宏块进行预测,选出最佳的预测模式。实验结果表明,该算法在保证失真率和码率性能的前提下,编码时间平均减少了71.6%,大大提高了编码效率。 In order to reduce the complexity of H.264 encoding algorithm, this paper proposes a fast mode decision algorithm for intra prediction. The prediction type of a macroblock is decided according to the differences between the neighboring pixels of a macroblock. Pan's fast algorithm based on edge direction histogram is improved to predict the macroblock; therefore the best prediction mode is chosen. Experimental results show that the method can save the encoding time up to 71.6% averagely when guarantee the capability of the rate distortion and the bits rate, and it improves the encoding efficiency tremendously.
