摘要
通过对福克纳《献给艾米莉的玫瑰》两个中译本的研究,旨在建构一个更科学的丈体分析模式,寻找翻译文体损差可能发生之处,探究在何种程度上可以避免假象对等,以及在何种程度上能够实现功能对等。
Literary stylistics can be dated back to the rhetoric studies of ancient Greece and Rome. However, literary stylistics, which flourished under the combined influence of developments in literary criticism and linguistics, did not become an independent subject until recently. Literary stylistics, when applied to literary translation, can be a helpful remedy for the deficiency of literary criticism. Assuming that prose fiction can be a valid area of investigation,this thesis will analyze the transference of style in terms of periodic sentence structure, the principle of climax, and pace. It aims at a more scientific stylistic analytical model to find out in what aspects stylistic losses may occur and to what extent deceptive equivalence can be avoided and functional equivalence can be achieved through the comparative study of the two Chinese translations of A Rose for Emily.
