摘要
分析了汶川地震救援对卫星导航定位及应急通信的需求,简要介绍了北斗卫星导航技术、功能及导航卫星特点,总结了北斗卫星导航系统在这次汶川地震中的应用情况,最后提出了建设我国北斗导航卫星系统的建议。
The requirements for navigation, positioning and emergency communication for the rescue of Wenchuan earthquake are analyzed in this paper. The technology, functions and characteristics of Beidou satellite navigation system are introduced briefly. It also summarizes the typical applications of Beidou satellite navigation system in the rescue of Wenchuan earthquake. The propositions of development of Beidou satellite navigation system are given finally.

范本尧，男（1935-），中国工程院院士，卫星总体技术专家；1958年毕业于清华大学，获硕士学位，曾任通信卫星总设计师、导航卫星总设计师、中国宇航学会飞行器总体专业委员会副主任委员，现任我国导航卫星领域首席专家。
