摘要
菲律宾的民族起源和民族发展与东南亚和东亚民族发展有紧密的联系,但同时又显露出与这个区域其他民族文化的一定区别;与其他亚洲相邻的国家相比,菲律宾民族在发展中很大程度上受到欧洲和美洲殖民者文化的影响,但这些并没有深刻地影响到菲律宾民族的独具风格的文化的本质;不能否认宗教(如基督教和伊斯兰教)的因素在菲律宾民族形成过程中所起的重要作用;菲律宾人是民族文化融合的典型例子;必须注意到华人在菲律宾民族形成过程中所起的作用;现代菲律宾民族正在向形成一个统一民族的道路上逐渐推进。
The author discusses the characteristics of the development of Philippine Nationality during Paleolithic period, immigration period, colonial period and independent period. It is proposed that the origin and development of Philippine nationality are closely connected with the development of Southeast Asian and East Asian nationality, while it distinguishes from other nationality cultures in this area. Comparing with those in neighbor Asian countries, Philippine nationality is affected by the colonial culture from Europe and America, however this does not change the specialty of culture of the Philippine nationality. What could not be ignored is that religion such as Christianism and Islam plays very important role in the development of Philippine nationality. Filipino is the typical case of national culture amalgamation. The role of Chinese in the forming of Philippine nationality should be paid attention to. Modem Philippine nationality is on the way of uniformed nationality.
