摘要
一词多义是语言中普遍的现象。而原型范畴理论为一词多义提供了充分地理据性。这就为我们的一词多义词汇教学提供了有力的工具。文章介绍了原型范畴理论并解释了一词多义现象,以期对多义词的教学提供有益的启示。
There are lots of polysemous words in language. Prototype theory provides enough motivation for polysemous words, which is very beneficial to polysemy teaching. In this article, the prototype theory will be introduced and applied to the motivational interpretation of the words with multiple meanings, which has implications to the teaching of English polysemous words.
