摘要
中西修辞传统都对后来修辞思想的发展产生了重要深远的影响。本文试图比较中西修辞学传统,着眼点既在异也在同。通过分析中西对言语交际的不同理解以及社会传统与社会语境方面的差异,揭示它们各自修辞传统形成的动因。
Both classical western and Chinese theories of rhetoric have had great influence on the later development of rhetoric. This paper aims at making a comparative study of the two traditions, including both the similarities and differences. The reasons for the differences are also explored by analyzing the different understandings of verbal communication and the different social contexts.
