摘要
由HirschJE提出的h指数是一个评价科学工作者科学成就的新指标,也能很好地用于高等院校的评价。通过实例说明了高等院校h指数的计算方法,计算了中国部分重点大学的h指数,讨论了h指数与其他计量指标的相关性。
The h-index proposed by Hirsch J E is considered as a new indicator to evaluate researcher＇s scientific output, and can be used to evaluate the impact of universities as well. The method for determination of the h-index of universities was explained by a sample and the h-indices of fifty Chinese keystone universities were calculated. The correlations of the h-index with other indicators are discussed.
