摘要
字符的构建是一个过程,形、音、义的结合具有历时关系。由于汉字字符构建过程的本质在于提示数量巨大、性质复杂、无规律可循的语义,故在客观上造成汉字性质的复杂。但我们恰可以构建过程中的描摹对象环节为突破口,以统一讨论的前提为基础,在着重分析形声字的声符性质的条件下,提出“四书”内部仍以示意为红线一以贯之,形声字的性质仍在于示意,汉字的性质可定义为:词素型示意文字。
The construction of characters is a process, and the combination of sound, formation and meaning has a diachronic peculiarity. In addition, the essence of the construction process of Chinese characters consists in its production of enormous number of complicated and irregular semantic meanings, causing therefore the objective complexity of the Chinese characters. However, we could start from the objects of the construction process of the Chinese characters, and on the basis of unified discussions and analysis of the phonetic elements of picot-phonetic ideographs, we could see that the inner world of the four Chinese character formations is linked up with ideographic indications, and the role of picot-phonetic characters is still ideographic. Therefore the nature of Chinese characters may be defined as morphemic ideographs.
