摘要
通过“战争”概念隐喻探讨文化因素对人的思维以及语言表达方式与结构的影响。分析研究表明,概念隐喻作为认知过程的重要组成部分具有跨文化的共性,但同时也受到文化因素的制约。该制约来自不同文化背景下形成的概念模式,即社会脚本。不同文化背景中的概念隐喻会产生不同的语义概念,其语言的表达方式与结构也会由此产生不同的变化。
This paper aims to explore the effect of cultural factor on the thinking pattern and ways of language expression through the discussion of＂ war＂ conceptual metaphors. The analysis reveals that though conceptual metaphors, an important component of human cognition, share some universal features cross - culturally, they are also subject to the influence of culture. The interpretation of them is basically culture - based, and the language structures used to convey these conceptual metaphors are particularly determined by the conceptual patterns of a culture, i. e. the social scripts.
