摘要
逻辑连接是语言连贯成篇的关键。由于人类思维的普遍性，英汉语篇的逻辑关系总的来说是共通的；但由于逻辑范畴的复杂性和语言表达的差异，英汉语篇的逻辑衔接手段还是多有不同。本文就英汉语篇的时空、因果、转折和推延4种主要的逻辑连接作一例析，以具体说明二者间的异同及其意义。
Logical connection is the key of discourse coherence. Generally, the logical relations of Enghsh and Chinese discourses are almost the same because of the universality of human thoughts. But there are still some different logical connections between English and Chinese discourses due to the complexity of logical categories and the difference of language expressions. This text, as a sampling analysis, discusses four main logical connections, space-time, cause-effect, adversative and development, to illustrate the similarity and difference between Chinese and English, and its significance.
