Electrochemical behaviors of hydroquinone and its electrochemical kinetics at carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode

摘要 The multi-wall carbon nanotubes(MWNTs)modified glassy carbon electrode(CNT/GCE)was fabricated and its electrocatalytic activity of hydroquinone was investigated.It was found that the electrochemical behaviors were greatly improved at CNT/GC,indicating that the redox of hydroquinone could be catalyzed at CNT/GC.The kinetic parameters of thisprocess were calculated.The diffusiong coefficient was 1.7×10-5cm2·s-1,the heterogeneouselectron transfer rate constant k was 0.678s-1,α value was 0.538 and electron transfer numbers was 2.
