摘要
随着我国对外开放的不断深入和对外经济文化交流的日益频繁,对外宣传工作显得越来越重要。作为对外宣传的媒介和桥梁,翻译的重要性是不言而喻的。外宣译者不能按汉语原文逐字逐句地翻译,而是根据国外受众的思维习惯和接受心理,对原文信息进行能动的加工:或改写、或删减、或增添、或重组,即译者可以人为地掺入大量的变码,充分发挥其主观能动性,使译文明白晓畅,清晰易懂,从而达到对外宣传与交流的目的。
With China's deepening opening up to the foreign countries and increasing frequent economic and cultural exchanges with the rest of the world, the publicity-oriented Chinese-English translation becomes vital important. The objective of publicity-oriented C-E translation is to ensure the target audience's accurate and obstruction-free comprehension of the messages the source text conveys. To meet this goal, the translator should adopt a target language-centered approach by dynamically applying translation methods of modification, addition, omission, or reconstruction etc.
