摘要
超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)纤维是继碳纤维、硼纤维、芳纶之后的第四大高强纤维。文章综述了UHMWPE纤维的发展情况、生产工艺、性能、非织造复合材料的加工方法及二者的应用。
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber is the fourth important high-tenacity fiber following carbon fiber, boron fiber and polyurethane fiber. In this paper, the development, production process and properties of UHMWPE fiber, the manufacturing methods of UHMWPE fiber-based nonwoven composite materials and the applications of both are introduced in detail. UHMWPE fiber has good chemical corrosion resistance, high absorbency of specific energy, low frictional coefficient and high impact and cutting resistance. It is insoluble in water and has good biocompatibility and it is a fiber with the lowest specific mass among all high-tenacity-modulus fibers.
