摘要从信息化、全球化和高技术发展正在重建世界出发,概述了中国城市已经参与全球化进程,城市的发展出现某些新趋势,主要表现在:国家城市体系内不是所有城市的快速增长,而是一些与全球化进程相连接的关键城市的发展。具体体现在几个城市的城市功能的全球化,城市规模的巨型化,城市间交流的快速化,以及城市联盟及其一体化,以发展中的全球城市为核心的全球城市区正在发育之中。 Globalization, internationalization and high-technology are restructuring our world. There is a great impact of current globalization trends on the urbanization in China. This paper reviews some new trends of China＇s urban development, such as globalization of urban functions, growing polycentric megacity regions, accelerated interconnection among urban places as well as new urban alliances and regional integration. The paper mentioned particularly that there are a few fast-growing urban places in the process of globalization.
