摘要
关联理论是一门认知语用学理论,对翻译有很强的解释力。本文探讨了关联理论与翻译的关系,认为关联理论的翻译观是动态的、科学的翻译观,指出在翻译活动中寻找关联(包括文本关联和超越文本关联)的重要性。
Relevance theory, the theory on Pragmatics and Cognition, has the most powerful explanatory power as regards translation. The thesis discusses the relationship between relevance theory and translation, and proposes that the notion of translation based on relevance theory is interpretive and scientific. It draws a conclusion that the search of relevance （including both text relevance and text beyond relevance） is the essential factor in translation activity.
