摘要
分析对合作原则、会话含义、礼貌原则,阐述故意使用间接语言的现象,并对礼貌策略的文化特征与语言间接性的关系进行了简单剖析,最后强调语言使用的得体性原则。
The author exemplifies the pragmatic functions of the deliberate use of indirect speech by analyzing cooperative principle, conversational implicature and politeness principle, and then discusses briefly the cultural features related to strategies of politeness and finally sheds light on the principles of using appropriate language.
