Cast-on Surfaced Cast Iron Crucible for Melting Aluminium Base Alloy and Mechanism of Its Oxidation Resistance at High Temperature

摘要 在对熔铝铸铁坩埚高温氧化生长失效分析的基础上,应用超重力场铸渗表面合金化技术研制开发了具有高铝、硅合金化表层的新型熔铝铸铁坩埚,探讨了铸渗铁埚的抗高温氧化生长机理。生产应用试验表明:铸渗铁埚的使用寿命是相同材质普通铸铁坩埚的3~4倍。 Based on the failure analysis of oxidation and growth at high temprature of cast iron crucible for melting aluminium,a new type of cast iron crucible with a high Al-Si alloying outer surface has been developed by means of cast-in-place alloying technology under ultragravity field, the mechanism of antioxidation and growth at high temperature of the new type of crucible were investigated. Industral tests shown that the working life of the new type of crucible made of ordinory gray cast iron was 3~4 times as much as that of conventional crucibles made of the same material.
