摘要
语言是文化的载体,中西文化的异和同可以在中英语言的异同上体现出来。这对于翻译实践有着重要指导意义。本文通过俗语的英汉互译比较,揭示中西文化的异同,再根据中西文化的异同,诠释在俗语的英汉互译中要注意的九个问题。
Language is a cultural vehicle, which can reflect the difference between and similarities of western culture and Chinese culture. This paper explores cultural difference and similarities on the translation of idioms. Key points of idioms translation principles when cultural factors are concerned are offered as well.
