在Multi—Transputer System上求解板的临界载荷的并行算法

摘要 给出了求解板的临界载荷的并行算法。它是通过对结构进行适当分割及编号,利用有限元法构造适当的数学模型,针对该数学模型并以Multi—TransputerSystem为模型机,设计并行算法。文中给出了具体算例,表明了该并行算法的有效性与可行性。 The critical load of a plate can be computed through finding the general eigenvalues ofthe equation Ax =λBx. To the best of our knowledge, there is no paper, other than our previous paper[6], published on using a parallel algorithm to compute such general eigenvalues.Now we present another parallel algorithm different from that of Ref. [6].The chief feature of the parallel algorithm in this paper is that an appropriate model isestablished through suitable division and coding of structure. We select multi-transputersystem, one tYPe of MIMD machines, as a model machine. The parallel algorithm is workedout with the help of eqs. (6) through (10).Two illustrative examples are given. The critical loads calculated with our parallel algorithm together with the corresponding parallel acceleration rates are presented in Tables 1and 2 respectively. The results of the two examples indicate that our algorithm is feasibleand effective.
