摘要
比较基于人体外部器官的英汉情感习语并对其进行认知语义分析,讨论了它们在构成方式、语义和认知机制上的相似性及其转喻性的认知机制。
Emotional idioms have a close connection with external body par ts . It is founded in this paper that English and Chinese emotional idioms have cer tain similarities in construction, semantics and cognitive mechanism by comparin g and analyzing them. Idioms involving external body parts are metonymic in natu re.
