In 2004, China's dyestuff production yielded 598 300 t, and organic pigment production yielded 143 600 t, increased 10.4 % and 13.3 % respectively compared to the year of 2003. Total import and export dyestuffs amounted to 291 200 t, and total import and export organic pigments amounted to 138 800 t, increased 10.64 % and 16.15 % respectively compared to the year of 2003. Based on relative data and investigation, the industry situation was analyzed and compared, and trend for future market was prospected.
