气化模铸模材料苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物的制备、表征及铸模性能 被引量:1

STUDY ON PREPARATION OF STYRENE-METHYL METHACRYLATE COPOLYMER AS GASIFIABLE PATTERN MATERIAL

摘要 采用悬浮聚合法制备了气化模铸造专用的可发性苯乙烯 甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物[P(St MMA)]珠粒,用 元素分析、傅立叶变换红外光谱、核磁共振及凝胶色谱等方法对合成的共聚物进行了表征。研究了引发剂用 量和单体的初始投料比对共聚物相对分子质量和平均组成的影响。结果表明,共聚物相对分子质量随引发剂 用量增大而减小,特别是当引发剂在单体中的摩尔分数小于0.5%时影响最为明显;共聚物的平均组成与初 始投料组成接近,通过调节初始投料比可以控制共聚物的组成;合成的P(St MMA)非支链无规线型结构。 铸模性能测试表明,经可发性处理后的共聚物试样发气量为1016.6mL/g、灼烧残留量为0.012%,可作为市 售气化铸模材料的优良替代品。 Expandable beads of styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer was prepared as pattern material for evaporative pattern casting (EPC) by suspension polymerization. It was characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, NMR and gel permeation chromatography. The effects of initiator amount and monomer ratio on the M w and composition of the copolymer were researched. The results showed that the copolymer M w decreased with the increasiong of initiator, especially while the initiator is less than 0.5% in total monomer; the composition of the copolymer could be controlled by adjusting the monomer feed ratio, because they are basically equal to the latter; and the copolymer structure is proved to be linear atactic by FT-IR, NMR and gel permeation chromatography. The casting mould performance tests of the expanded copolymer showed that the gasifying volume and burning residual of the copolymer beads are 1 016.6 mL/g and 0.012% respectively. So this copolymer may be a good substitute for EPC materials on the market.
