摘要
言语适应理论由柴尔斯等人于 70年代初提出 ,发展到今天已近三十年。其丰富的研究成果和新颖的理论视角受到了社会心理学、社会语言学、交际学、语用学、话语分析、第二语言习得的欢迎和接受 ,成为了一种很重要的具有学科交叉性质的理论。本文将综述它的发展过程和研究成果以及有待研究的问题。
In its nearly thirty years of development, speech accommodation theory, originally a socio pyschological model, put forward by Giles,et al in the early seventies of the last century, has offered a large body of fruitful research results and instructive ideas for sociolinguistics, communication stady, pragmatics, discourse analysis, as well as (second) language acquisition and has become an interdisciplinary theory of great importance and explanatory power. The paper is intended to give a review of both its development and issues to be further studied.
