摘要
本文在综述国内外关于错误研究的理论和方法以及错误纠正的研究的基础上,采用课堂观察和问卷调查两种方法,研究了教师纠错的时机、纠错的模式以及学生对错误的认识、对错误纠正的态度和对错误纠正方法的偏爱.本项研究的结果对我国大学英语教学有如下启示:教师应在评估错误的严重性的基础上对严重性错误和非严重性错误区别对待;启发是一种有效而受学生喜欢的错误纠正方式;在选择纠正方式上,应取得不同错误纠正方式上的平衡.
This paper makes a study of error correction strategies in the instructional context of college English teaching. It attempts to give a comprehensive and systematic review of the theories and methods in exploring errors, and research on error correction as well. The paper proposes that teachers employ different error treatment strategies according to error gravity; a balance of different error correction patterns selected in the light of effectivity, contextual factors, learner preference and learner linguistic competence is likely to work more successfully than overusing one or two correction patterns.
