摘要
全球化时代充满着现代性的冲突与矛盾,它们对中国当代建筑和城市规划产生了重大的影响。有关全球化与地域性的争论似乎不可调和,然而其中却存在着对于这两个概念的误解。文章对全球化、地域性以及它们的关系进行了分析,指出“全球化”首先是现代性的全球化,它并非与“地域性”完全对立的概念,也不能简单地理解为“国际化”。从某种意义上说,地域化是普遍现象,而全球化则是一个永无终结的过程。全球化发展的趋势和结果不应是文化的单极化,而是多元化,是地域文化的共存。
Globalization time is full of contradictions. TheChinese contemporary architecture and urban planninghave been greatly influenced by the globalization. Theconflicts between globalization and localization seems tobe irreconcilable, but that is really a misunderstanding. Inthe paper, the profound meanings of globalization andlocalization, and their relations are argued. The authoremphasizes that globalization is not opposite of localization,nor internationalization. In fact , globalization is firstly theglobalization of modernity. Localization is a universalphenomenon, but globalization is only an endless course,its last trend will not be the unification of contemporaryculture, but the multivariate which leads to the coexistenceof various local cultures.
